Artist, country songwriter, multi instrumentalist Freddie Nunez leads a rich inner life. He currently is based out of Austin Texas by way of California and New York.
In 2012, Nunez recorded and released Runaway, eponymous with his departure to New York. After recording every instrument (and writing every song) for Demos from the Future (Lawn Chair Records), he's since proven to be a prolific collaborator and performer.
He's loaned his voice to Laurence Made Me Cry for her album Diary of Me, provided the title music for the comedy podcast It's All True, with Tim Barnes, before working with Terry Caudill (Flashlights) for his his album, Heaven's in Your Head.
Fans and supporters relate to his constantly evolving sound, to the expansive expression of a growing and emerging artist. At the center of his broad range is a consistent pop sensibility, warm, lush guitar soundscapes, and an instinct for emotionally true stories (with a soothing voice to tell them).
At times sad, fun, happy, always honest, Nunez' songs are charged with emotional depth.

"on this album Freddie does a musical seance bringing up the ghosts of Waylon, Willie and Merle for a party where the drinks were left unattended in the presence of Gram Parsons and John Phillips...the music is stately, classically styled country, but the star is Freddie's warm, soaring, yet resigned voice, bringing stories of late nights with soft moons and early mornings with hard, unforgiving sunlight...highly recommended!"- Review of Let Hand Path by Modern Folk Music of America
